The main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has said Nigerians would scuttle the ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Recall OejNews reported that the Chairman of the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mai Mala Buni, has expressed that the ruling party is working towards retaining power in the country for at least 32 years.
Buni disclosed this on Tuesday while inaugurating the party’s 61-member Contact and Strategy Committee at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.
He said APC needs to be in power to consolidate on the delivery the dividends of democracy.
However, speaking through its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, PDP said, “Nigerians can’t wait for 2023 to chase this thieving gang out of power. No Nigerian, except the very few who are benefiting from the ongoing institutional corruption, will pray for this regime to stay one day longer than 2023″.
